Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology has organized “Bio Fresh Start 2022” on Jun 15, 2022, from 1-5 pm at Salle D’Expo, Hua Mak campus. This event was held to welcome the students back to school and welcome the new batch of freshmen. It was the first gathering of faculty members and students after the long pause of COVID-19 and the faculty’s annual lab safety seminar.

At this event, Rev. Bro Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, Rector Magnificus of Assumption University has given an opening remark to Biotech students about life at the University. He has mentioned that life at the university was a practice of life after university. Things would not always go as they want and students should practice how to discipline themselves and learn from both good and bad experiences. 

It is also an honor for the faculty to have Rev. Bro. Dr. Prawat Sutthinont, Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs, Rev. Bro. Dr. Verayuth Boonpram, Vice President of Student Affairs, and Rev. Bro. Dr. Achin Tengtrakul, Vice President for Administrative Affairs present on this occasion.

Dr. Churdchai Cheowtirakul, Dean Emeritus has presented his welcome speech on the importance of Biotechnology in the near future. How can the world be prepared for food security during this difficult time, on the edge of war?  And finally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin has casually greeted the Biotech Family with love and joy.

It was a great moment for all of us!
