Theophane Vernard School of Biotechnology
The Faculty of Biotechnology was founded in 1993 as a 9th School founded in Assumption University. The School aims to produce graduates working in biotechnology field and its related fields. The Faculty has been offering two 4-year bachelor's programs in Agro Industry and Food Technology with graduate’s degree in Food Biotechnology with collaboration to the University of California at Davis, USA, under the name of School of Biotechnology since then. In the year of 2020, the new School's name has been kindly appointed by the Rector Emeritus of Assumption University entitled, "Theophane Vernard School of Biotechnology".
All these years, we offer an international program in Biotechnology for whom that seek experience in learning among international atmosphere in full range of science knowledge, practically work in-class and out-of-class activities, active learning with intimate relationship among lecturers and students, interdisciplinary of emerging science with entrepreneurial spirit devoted for research and industrialized development purposes.
